Kimmeridge Back Loop

While opinions varied yesterday, there was not doubt about the best time to sail today. Early. So early, I barely saw another car on the whole journey over to KBay! I arrived to wind and proceeded to rig a 4.7 only for the wind to completely disappear. Not to be outdone, I rigged a 5.2 and wobbled out through the bay into cleaner wind and immediately started planing.

What followed can only be described as some of the best jumping conditions I have ever sailed. Every run out had three to four huge vertical jump ramps. It would have been rude not to get airborne. Plenty of back loops being pulled by the guys along with a few push loops. I cannot describe how good it was. I sailed and jumped until my arms could take it no longer and then headed back for lunch. Kimmeridge is fast becoming my favourite place!
