Windy again! Ash came down to the beach with me today and we set up the wind break next to one of the groynes thinking it would give extra protection from the wind... It didn't work. The groyne sent the sand airborne and then it fell out of the sky just where Ash was sitting... Each time I came in from the water the layer of sand around / over her was slightly deeper. Luckily I didn't stay out too long and she was still visible at the end!
The sea was flat again so I took the single fin, made some real progress with the downwind 369s and did plenty of wymaroos. Went for one full powered airborne forward, but it ended in a painful crash! A few learning points from this one: point more downwind and really throw the rig. I do feel I'm making progress but it's not as easy as they'd have you think...
